Northern Calvert Fury 16u is looking for 2-3 more players (pitcher,utility) to finish our 09 -10 roster. We operate in and around Dunkirk, MD and are entering our second year as a 16u team with high expectations for success. Our plans: train all winter (indoor practices/clinics, batting cages, World Gym membership, 4-on-4 games, etc.), and play in 7-8 tournaments next summer with the goal of playing in a world series. The LT Lazers will be holding tryouts for their U14 team on December 6^th and 13^th at Lutherville Elementary School from 12:00 p.m. 2:00 p.m. Girls who can make a solid commitment to a softball season going through the end of July and are interested in a higher level of softball are welcome to tryout. Tryouts will be indoors, please do not wear cleats.

The Vienna Stars '95 are looking for up to 2 "A" Players who want to take their game to the highest level including a drive to win the ASA National Championship in Illinoisand the ASA Fireworks Tournament in Colorado. Tryouts will be held on December 5th from 7:00-8:30 at our spacious and exclusive indoor facility in Sterling, VA. This will be a closed and confidential tryout. This team, made up entirely of girls with 1995 and 1996 birthdays, just completed an incredible spring/summer season as a first year 14U team with a 33rd finish out of 122 of the best teams in the nation at ASA USA Nationals in Marietta, GA and a great fall season where we captured 2 tournament championships including one at 16U. Our goal for 2010 is simple: to Win ASA Nationals. The coaching staff focuses on individual and team skills development and utilizes professional coaching to assist. We begin twice a week winter workouts in December and plan to play our first tournament in January. If you feel that you have what it takes to be part of this great team and organization and want to take your game to a new level, we would love to see you at our tryout. Maryland Stars Roster Openings

The Maryland Stars have roster openings on the following teams for the 2009/2010 season:
12U - 1 or 2 players
14U - 1 middle infielder, preferably left side
16U - 1 player
18U - 1 or 2 players

The Stars 12U team will play a few tournaments in the fall and then a 11-12 tournament schedule during the spring and summer in 2010. The team head coach is Christina Warholic, cwarholic@gmail.com who does not have a daughter on the team.

The Stars 16U team will play 4 tournaments during the fall (mostly 18U) and then a spring/summer schedule of 10-11 events to include elite 16U events and 18U showcase events. This team is made up first year 16U and second year 14U players. It goal is to prepare the players for the next level and start the college exposure process. Head coach is Glen Warholic who does not have a daughter on the team.

The Stars 18U team will play 3 or 4 showcase tournaments during the fall and then a spring/summer schedule of 10-11 events mostly comprised of elite showcase events (Pennsbury, TNT, Newtown Rock, Carolina Classic). This team's goal is college exposure and developing the experience needed to play at the collegiate level.

Severna Park Hornets 12U are having our tryouts for the 2010 season. We are looking for girls looking to challenge themselves in class B level ASA tournaments.

All positions are open and this is opportunity for everyone...especially those pitchers looking for time on the mound. Our tryouts will be held indoors unless we have favorable weather and we will make use of our private fields.

Severna Park has a long history of developing successful Select and Travel teams as we have teams in the age groups of 12U, 14U, 16U and two 18U teams.

Tryouts will be on December 6th and 13th at 2pm (both are Sundays).
