Girls' ACL Injury Prevention Class

Are you aware that girls tear the Anterior Cruciate Ligament in the knee at a rate 8 times that of male athletes?

The unique physiology of women is to blame for this phenomenon, and strength and conditioning at an early age is key to warding of the surgeon's knife.

I am a strength coach with Athletic Edge in Glen Burnie, MD, and I have a program specifically designed to strengthen the muscles that support the knees. My program will help to prevent ACL injury, while also increasing leg strength, speed and agility. Having been through an arm surgery myself, injury prevention is one of my biggest priorities.
