Tryouts for the 2013 season
August 12th and 19th
Century High School, Sykesville MD
Time slots:
Note: For all age groups - players need to arrive at least a half hour before
the tryout time, to sign in and warm up before the tryout begins.
10U: 9:00am to 11:00am - arrive 8:30am.
12U: 11:00am to 1:00pm - arrive 10:30am.
14U: 1:00pm to 3:00pm - arrive 12:30pm.
16U/18U: 3:00pm to 5:00pm - arrive 2:30pm.
Tryout agenda:
Players will be involved in a series of drills to evaluate their skill level on
the following:
Throwing, fielding ground balls, fielding fly balls, hitting, bunting, and base
running.
At the end of the drills - pitchers and catchers will have a separate tryout.
Additional Notes:
Players - please wear a uniform or a shirt with a number on it.
Each player needs to bring their own equipment.
A player does not have to be at both tryouts.
