The USSSA national committee just voted to adopt 43' for 15U, 16U and 18U, while giving states the option of continuing with 40' for the fall or going to 43' right now. In MD & DE we will continue with 40' throughout the fall for all age brackets, with the exception of our Fall Scholastic Showcase which will be at 43'.
Note also that our national committee will continue discussions on pitching distances for the other age brackets as well. However, if there are any changes to those they too won't take effect until Jan 1.
